Delete your laba account

In the app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
3. Under "Delete your account", tap "Delete my account" and confirm.

On the website

1. Sign in to laba.
2. Go to Account, then "Privacy and your data".
3. Choose "Delete my account" and confirm.

What happens

We delete your account and profile, your rooms and their photos, saved rooms and searches, your checks, devices and any work or college confirmation.

Some records stay with the other person, without your name: messages you sent in a conversation, written notices, and signed agreements and their move-in and move-out records. Reports are kept for safety reasons. Our ID partner, Didit, keeps its own record of an ID check for a limited time.

Deletion happens straight away. For your safety you'll be asked to sign in again first if you last signed in a while ago.

If you're in an arrangement that's still running, end it first (give notice), so the other person isn't left without anyone to contact.
