Is Sa Bhaile free to use?

Yes. Searching, listing a room and messaging are free. Sa Bhaile does not handle rent or deposits.

What do the badges mean?

Basic means someone has confirmed their email and phone. Verified ID means they've passed a photo ID check. Verified with references means someone who knows them has also confirmed who they are.

Badges confirm identity. They are not a background or criminal record check.

Why is my exact address hidden?

To keep hosts safe, listings show only the general area. Hosts share the exact address when they're ready, for example before a viewing.

What is the trial period?

The first weeks of an arrangement are a trial. During the trial, either person can end the arrangement with shorter written notice. The exact days are in your arrangement summary.

How do I end an arrangement?

Open the arrangement and choose "Give notice". We guide you through the reason, the end date and the written notice, and explain what happens next.

Can a family member help me?

Yes. In your account, choose "Family helper" to invite someone. You choose what they can help with, and you can remove them at any time.

Can I use Sa Bhaile in Irish?

Yes. Use the language switch at the top of any page. You can also search for places by their Irish names.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your account, then "Privacy and your data". You can download a copy of your data first.
